Stainless Steel Octangonal Ring Joint Gasket for Petroleum Industry

Ring joint gaskets were primarily developed for high-pressure and high-temperature applications in petroleum industry, they are used in well-drilling and well-completion equipment.

Ring joint gaskets are made by forging, heat treatment and machining work, is a kind of metal sealing gasket applied in pipe flange, pressure vessel, high-temperature and high-temperature valves, especially in areas with fluctuation of pressure and temperature, they can still keep comparatively good sealing function.

The commonly used R type metal ring gaskets are classified into two types according to the shape of cross-section, one is oval type, the other is octagonal type. The standard R type ring gaskets are produced according to standards AP16A and ASMER1620, with maximum pressure of 10000PSL. In trapezoid flanges, oval type gaskets can be used alternatively with octagonal type gaskets.

BX type is suitable for increasing pressure system with its design pressure up to 15000PS.

Note: material hardness of metal ring gaskets should be HB15-20 lower than flange surface, and the gaskets are not suggested to be used repeatedly.

Quality Control:
We have strict auditing before determining to choose a supplier. The auditing covers machines, test facilities, records, management as well as supplier's management staff's attitudes towards our concept of business and our requirements.

The suppliers are required to keep records of and put labels to each incoming production materials and each production procedures to ensure that the products and quality are controllable and traceable according to ISO9001 system. We will carry out inspection of semi-finished products and finished products, not including the supplier's own internal daily in-process inspection, to guarantee that the quality of the goods will match and exceed customers' expectations.

And more importantly, each supplier will be carefully chosen before production because we have to ensure there will be no potential risks in production.

For parts to be used in automobile industry, we supplier full set level 3 PPAP documents and carry out SPC analysis to ensure the parts can reach customers' requirements.

Packing of Goods:
The goods are packed in neutral 20-25kg outer cartons, or in small boxes first then in 20-25kg cartons on fumigated wooden European-type or American-type pallets. And if customers have special requirements on cartons or small boxes with special prints, it will also be feasible for us.Moreover, we can also supply the goods in various kinds of plastic small boxes according to respective customer requirements.

Payment Terms:

30% wire transfer after order confirmation and the balance should be paid against copy of bill of lading after delivery, or we can do L/C at customer’s requirements.

Delivery Terms:

FOB, CIF or DDU according to customer’s requirements.

Shipment:
The agreed timetable of delivery of goods will be strictly followed. And in case of urgent need, we may also make special arrangement for customers. We may make shipments with full containers, less load containers or airfreight for customers.


Shipment documents:

We will supply commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, insurance policy and certificate of inspection within 3-5 days after delivery.
