The single wall corrugated pipe extrusion machine consists of several machines in a production line. The main machines typically include:
1.Extruder: The extruder is the core machine in the production line. It melts and homogenizes the raw material, usually high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and then forces it through a die to form the desired shape.
2.Corrugator: The corrugator is responsible for creating the corrugated structure of the pipe. It consists of a set of rotating molds that shape the molten plastic into the desired corrugated profile. The molds are cooled to solidify the plastic, and the formed corrugated pipe is then pulled through the corrugator.
3.Forming Machine: The forming machine is used to shape the corrugated pipe into the desired diameter and length. It may include modules for cutting, cooling, and stacking the pipes.
4.Winding Machine: The winding machine is used to coil the finished corrugated pipes onto reels or spools. It facilitates easy storage, transportation, and further processing of the pipes.
 

The extrusion process of the extruder involves the following steps:
1.Material Preparation: The raw material, usually HDPE pellets, is fed into the hopper of the extruder.
2.Melting and Homogenization: The material is heated and melted inside the extruder barrel. The rotating screw inside the barrel conveys the molten plastic while homogenizing it to ensure consistent properties.
3.Extrusion and Shaping: The molten plastic is forced through a die, which gives it the shape of a continuous pipe. The die is designed to create the desired corrugated structure.
4.Cooling and Solidification: The newly formed corrugated pipe passes through a cooling system, often using water or air, to solidify the plastic.
5.Pulling and Cutting: The corrugated pipe is pulled through the production line by the haul-off machine at a constant speed. It may be cut into desired lengths at this stage.
