Square Wire Mesh Description
Zinc plating is not a metal or alloy; it is a process of applying a protective zinc coating on steel to prevent rust. Galvanized Square Wire Mesh is made of selected low carbon steel wire,wires are woven one next to another to mesh by advanced machines .It has features of precise structure,uniform mesh,perfect corrosion resistance,durability and so on.It’s a vey good choice for multipurpose use.

Galvanizing can be done before or after the wire mesh is manufactured-whether it is weaving or welding. Galvanizing first and then weaving the net or galvanizing first and then welding the net means that the single wire used to make the net itself has been galvanized before weaving or welding the net. Depending on the mesh (or opening size) and diameter wire, this is usually the cheaper option, especially if custom manufacturing is required.
Galvanizing after weaving is exactly the same as galvanizing after welded mesh. The material is usually made of carbon steel or ordinary steel, and is usually placed in a galvanizing tank to produce a galvanized specification after weaving or welding. Generally speaking, this option is more expensive, depending on availability and other variables, but it does provide a higher level of corrosion resistance. This increased level of corrosion resistance is most evident in galvanized joints or intersections of steel mesh specifications after welding.
One of the main advantages of Galvanized Square Wire Mesh, especially for galvanized welding specifications, is that it tends to provide wires with a variety of opening sizes and diameters. For example, mesh sizes, such as 1” x 1”, 2” x 2”, 4” x 4”, are often easily obtained from stock in a small amount of commonly required diameter wires.
Due to the attractive price point and corrosion resistance of Galvanized Square Wire Mesh, galvanized wire mesh is very popular among wire mesh industrial users. Generally, Galvanized Square Wire Mesh is designated for applications that require relatively large opening sizes. Keep in mind that galvanizing a relatively fine mesh after weaving may clog the opening, making it unusable in many applications. It is for this reason that 10 x 10 mesh and finer mesh are usually made galvanized before weaving.
Galvanized Square Wire Mesh is widely used in industries and constructions to sieve grain powder,filter liquid and gas,for other purposes like safe guards on machinery enclosures. Besides,it is widely applied for the substitute of wood strips in making wall and ceiling.
