Equipment Overview


Samples and Restrictions: Lighting equipment, low-voltage apparatus, household appliance, machine tool electric appliance, electrical machine, electric tool, electronic instrument, electrotechnical instrument, electrical connector, etc., and its parts and components, as well as their insulating materials, engineering plastics or other solid combustible materials.

 

Application: Simulate the effect of small flames due to fault conditions, use simulation technology to assess fire hazard.

 

Test Principle: The needle flame tester uses a needle burner with a specified size (Φ0.9mm), passes through a specific gas (butane), and ignites the test sample at a 45° angle. Then the fire hazard of the small flame caused by the fault condition inside the equipment is evaluated according to whether the test product is ignited and the burning duration and burning length.

 

Structure: Chamber structure, with fume hood.

 

Power supply: single-phase AC220V±10%, 50/60Hz, or match client's local power supply requirements.


Use Environment: Ambient temperature: 10℃~35℃, relative humidity: 30%~60%, there should be no high concentration dust, no corrosive gas , no flammable and explosive atmosphere around.
