DIN741 Malleable Wire Rope Clip
DIN741 malleable wire rope clips are a light duty malleable iron wire rope clamp, composed of a cast saddle, a U-bolt and two nuts, this wire clip's installtiono is very easy, and designed to fix the loose end of the loop back to the wire rope.
Malleable wire rope clips are designed for lighter loads but offer considerable cost advantages. Applications that malleable wire rope clamps can be used for include fencing, guard rails, hand rails, etc. drop forged wire rope clips are recommended for overhead lifting applications.
Wire rope clip also called as U-bolt, Bulldog clip or wire clamp is used to clamp the looped back wire rope as to form an eye. It is consisted by a U-bolt and has a saddle secured by 2 nuts.
The wire rope clip size is compatible with the wire rope diameter, inappropriate selection of wire rope clip size will cause damage to the wire rope or insuffient clamping force.
Incorrect installation of wire rope clip will result in 40% reduction of working eficiency. Furthermore, bigger diameter of rope shall apply more wire rope clips with appropriate tail length to ensure the consistent working load limit.

The terminal efficiency for wire rope size from 3mm to 22mm is 80%, and size from 25mm to 89mm is 90% with appropriate torque apply on the nut.
Sling made by using wire rope clip are not suitable for lifting purposes, only use it for static load securing.
5mm stainless steel DIN 741 wire rope grips are a simple way to create eyes in 4mm & 5mm cable diameters.
