Frameless SMT Stencils are generally use for PCB with low volumes or PCB prototypes. Those frameless stencils are designed for manual printing, we have a large selection of framless stencils size. If you want to surface mount components onto a PCB prototype board(printed circuit board), what is the easilest way to solder that? Outsourcing that to an PCB assembly factory in China, could be expensive. By using a soldering iron could be a hard job for you and you will have no access to pads underneath some components. The solution is to use a stencil could be a idea choice. And Linked Electronics could supply customized PCB SMT stencil with different sizes this will be much cheaper and convenient compared with framed stencil.
Solder paste is applied using the stencil onto the board, the stencil is then removed and components are positioned. By applying heat to the entire board, the solder paste flows around the component pins.
This stencils could be used many times, but please make sure it is cleaned after you use it.
Files need to be provided in standard PCB gerber files, PCB file or CAD DXF format which can be generated by most PCB design software. Please ensure the file(s) submitted contain all the paste that you need.

Be careful when you take out the PCB SMT stencil, because of no frame, the stencil is quite sharp.
Return and cancellation policy for SMT stencils
Because SMT stencils designs customized products, finished stencils or returned stencils have little or no value to anyone else. Therefore, we do not accept returned stencils. If you cancel an stencil order prior to manufacturing, 5USD set-up fee will be charged. If you cancel after approving the preview file but before the stencil ships, only shipping fee will be refunded.

Below factors should be considered when we choose the material for PCB:
The material’s Tg value should be greater than the operation temperature;
Low CTE material has good performance of thermal stability;
Good thermal resistance performance: Normally PCBs are required to resist 250℃ for at least 50s.
Good flatness; In consideration of the electrical properties, low loss/high permittivity material is used on high frequency PCB; Polyimide glass fiber substrate used for flexible PCB; Metal core is used when the product has strict requirement of heat dissipation.
