Why do Electric Shavers Make Heavy use of Ni-MH Battery?

 

1. Cost problem
The Ni-MH Battery used in the shaver is a mature Ni-MH battery that has been produced for more than ten years. After a long period of production, it can now achieve a relatively low cost. Although lithium batteries are cheap, they are still more expensive than nickel-metal hydride batteries.
The important parts on the shaver are the motor and the cutter head. The motor is more sensitive to the current. The voltage and discharge characteristics of lithium battery and nickel metal hydride and nickel cadmium are different. When you produce, older motors either have mature production lines or have sufficient suppliers, which is cheaper. If you change a new battery, you have to replace it with a new motor. 2. Other issues
Mobile phones and other electronic devices need to be thin and light. The battery can be repeatedly charged, fast charged, stable voltage for a long time, and low self-discharge.
