Function:
Control the opening and closing time of the elevator door:
Door opening delay: When the elevator reaches the target floor and stops at the same level, the time relay will control the elevator door to open automatically after a short delay. This is to ensure that the elevator car stops completely and is flush with the floor, to prevent the elevator door from accidentally opening when the elevator has not stopped, and to ensure the safety of passengers.
Door closing delay: During the closing process of the elevator door, the time relay will set a delay time so that the elevator door remains closed for a period of time after closing to confirm that the door is completely closed and there is no person or object trapped before the elevator is allowed to start running. In addition, when the elevator door is open for a period of time, if there are no passengers entering or exiting, the time relay will also control the elevator door to close automatically to improve the efficiency of the elevator.
Control the start and stop of the elevator:
Start delay: Before the elevator starts, the time relay can set a delayed connection time. At this time, various parts of the elevator, such as motors, brakes, etc., will complete preparations during this period, such as pre-excitation of the motor and release of the brake, to ensure that the elevator starts smoothly and avoid shocks caused by sudden start.
Stop delay: When the elevator stops running, the delay disconnection time set by the time relay can prevent the elevator from suddenly losing power support before stopping. For example, after the elevator reaches the target floor, the motor will gradually slow down, and then completely cut off the power supply after the delay time ends. At the same time, the brake will slowly tighten to make the elevator stop smoothly.
