Vehicle to Load (V2L): What is it and how does it work?

1-V2L technology includes an onboard converter in the vehicle, which converts Direct Current (DC) from the battery to Alternating Current (AC) for V2L.

2-To use V2L, you need a V2L adapter. The V2L adapter plugs into the vehicle’s charge port and serves the purpose of providing a socket.

3-The adapter plugs into the car’s charge port, and the other end contains a female 3-pin socket to plug devices into.

4-When V2L mode is activated on the vehicle, power from the battery is converted and fed to the connected device through the adapter and cable.

5-The V2L technology is contained in the vehicle, not the adapter. The adapter handles the load and facilitates power transfer to the cable, but the conversion from DC to AC and power management happens inside the vehicle.

Instructions :

Make sure the V2L option is activated in your vehicle. Set the minimum percentage the V2L can take from your vehicle's battery.

Insert your appliance's, device's or charger's plug into the V2L and enjoy. The V2L Plug will allow you to power any appliances, chargers or devices as long as they use 16A and less. Whether you're on a road trip, camping or enjoying some fresh air, the V2L adapter will allow you to power a small oven, a kettle, a coffee machine, a laptop, a lamp, a speaker and more. You can even charge another vehicle with this adapter as long as a mobile charger with a NEMA5-15 plug is availble.

To stop the charging process, simply unplug your appliance's, device's or charger's plug from the V2L and unplug the V2L adapter afterwards.
