1. Introduction
The high temperature pressure test apparatus conforms to the standard of IEC60884-1 clause 30.1 figure 41, IEC60598-2-20 clause 20.15, EN60811-3-1 and GB2099.1-2008 clause 30.1 figure 41 etc.. It’s used to the high temperature resistance test of the material of pin-insulating sleeves which occurred in conditions approaching bad connection conditions and at low temperatures in particular conditions of service. The apparatus consists of the hardness test rack, round blade, rectangular blade and load weight. 2.5N force is applied to specimen via blade, the apparatus with specimen is maintainted for 2 hours in a heating cabinet at a temperature of 200±5℃,the specimen is then removed from the apparatus within 10s, and cooled by immersion in cold water, the thickness of the insulation remaining at the point of impression is measured and shall not have been reduced by more than 50% of its original value measured at the start of the test.
