Application

Our standardized steel enclosures for electrical applications are designed to protect the electrical equipment from mechanical factors and external atmospheric influences, ensuring the persons safety against electric shock due to the direct touch.
They are used in industrial and residential electrical plants, both indoor and outdoor.
This enclosure range is well suited for many different applications. The risk for component failure, and with that unnecessary downtime, is eliminated as water and dust are prevented from entering the enclosure.

Construction

Formed 1.2mm or 1.5mm steel.
Smooth, continuously welded seams ground smooth.
Door opening angle: 120° of outer door,90° of inner door
Door stiffeners are provided where required for increased strength and rigidity
Formed lip on enclosure to exclude flowing liquids and contaminants.
Door latches feature the added safety of quarter turn slot requiring use of tool for opening.
Doors may be easily removed for modifications and are interchangeable.
Seamless poured-in place gasket.
Collar studs provided for mounting plate
Includes hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for wall mounting holes.
Bonding stud provided on door and grounding stud installed in enclosure.
turn latch and multi-point handle (key lockable) are zinc diecast with epoxy finish.
