Features of intermediate frequency furnace:
Since the principle of medium frequency induction heating is electromagnetic induction, its heat is generated in the workpiece itself. Ordinary workers can carry out continuous work of forging tasks within ten minutes after working with medium frequency electric furnace, and it is not necessary for professional workers to burn and seal the furnace in advance. Due to the fast heating speed of this heating method, there is little oxidation. The oxidation and burning loss of medium frequency heating forgings is only 0.5%, the oxidation and burning loss of gas furnace heating is 2%, and that of coal-fired furnace is 3%. The medium frequency heating process saves materials, and at least 20-50kg of steel raw materials are saved per ton of forgings compared with coal-fired furnace. The material utilization rate can reach 95%. Since the heating mode is uniform and the temperature difference between the core and the surface is extremely small, the service life of the forging die is greatly increased in forging, the roughness of the forging surface is less than 50um, and the process energy saving is 31.5% ~ 54.3% for medium frequency heating and specific gravity oil heating, and 5% ~ 40% for gas heating. The heating quality is good, the scrap rate can be reduced by 1.5%, the productivity can be increased by 10% ~ 30%, and the die life can be prolonged by 10% ~ 15%.
