Large size rubber seals in the shape of loop designed to set in groove of hub for airtight sealing. Elatomer seals are used in a large variety of applications due to the different compounds and properties of rubber. Goodyou provides OEM Service for all size and types of rubber seals. Below are some rubber material we commonly used, but not limited with them. If you are considering to develop custom rubber seals, pls do not hesitate to contact with us, our technical engineers and seals team will provide you with professional service.
♦ EPDM (Ethylene-Propylene) Rubber, excellent ozone, perfect weather and heat aging resistance. Low cost, suitable to used at outside, but poor resist oil, solvents, and not resist gasoline. High tensile strength, but low compression set.
♦ NR (Nature Rubber), excellent compression set, high tensile strength, resilience, abrasion and tear resistance. Excellent bonding capabilities to metal substrate. Not perform well when exposed to chemicals and petroleum. Widely used in air and water sealing for machinery.
♦ NBR (Nitrile), a superior level of resistance against synthetic. Good resist to fuel, oil and many acids, but poor ozone resistance, so not recommend to exposure to air. A good compression set, normally used to oil sealing.
♦ FKM,FPM (Fluorocarbon), an expensive rubber material, but excellent in fuel, oil resistance and low permeation, high chemical stability. Withstands high temperature and heat-aging. Normal FKM is poor low temperature resistance. Special types of FKM can maintain flexible at −40 °C. A preferred choice for oil and fuel sealing and high temperature working sealing, such as O-rings.
