Elastic is made from rubber and latex that have other flexible materials wrapped around it. Those materials are weaved together where the elastic characteristic does the most good and is not impeded in its purpose. The weaving method could be weave, knit and braid.
Elastic Thread is a combination of materials that have elastic characteristics as well as flexible natures. The strand of each Thread is Braided together to create a great elastic fabric that holds its shape even when it is stretched out. The Thread braiding machine is slightly differently from Flat braiding machine in regards of machine structure as well route of spindles travels. The travelling route is similar with topology structure, 2 spindles travelling path forms a "8" Shape, 3 Spindles form a shape of clover.
The Elastic Thread is used as labelling tag like as the hanging thread connected to a price tag, which is widely used in fruit, clothing, fresh food and other areas
Reik’s Elastic cord is made of Elastic Thread and Polyester or PP, Nylon yarn. One of the main sources for elastic are latex rubber, it comes from the rubber tree and it is quite flexible or stretchy. In fact, the stretchy quality of latex and rubber is very desired for some articles of clothing.
You really do not want to dry clean rubber clothes either. The chemicals in the dry cleaning process can damage or ruin the fabric. When elastic is combined with polyester or other thread types, it is usually at the center of the construction and its duties are restricted to bringing the clothing item back to its original shape.
