Physical properties:
Density is 7.75g/cm³, melting point is between 1425 - 1510°C, thermal expansion coefficient is 10.4x10^-6/K, elastic modulus is 200GPa, thermal conductivity is 23.9W/m・K, resistivity is 0.60x10^-6Ω・m.
Corrosion resistance:
It has good corrosion resistance and good tolerance to general atmosphere, water and many chemical media.
However, its corrosion resistance is poor in strong acid and alkali environments, and its overall corrosion resistance is slightly weaker than other stainless steel alloys such as 304.
If used in coastal areas and other environments, it may be more prone to rust.
Oxidation resistance:

It can remain stable at high temperatures and is not prone to oxidation reactions. It is suitable for some high-temperature application environments, such as parts that work at high temperatures.
Magnetism: 430 stainless steel is a ferromagnetic material with certain magnetism, which makes it attractive in some specific applications, such as parts that require magnetic adsorption.
Mechanical properties:

Processing performance:

Surface treatment:

No.1: Silvery white, dull, hot-rolled to a specified thickness, then annealed and descaled to form a rough, dull surface, suitable for uses that do not require surface gloss.
No.2D: Silvery white, heat-treated and pickled after cold rolling, sometimes a matte surface processed by a final light rolling on a rough roller, used for general materials and deep drawing materials that do not require strict surface requirements.
No.2B: The gloss is stronger than No.2D. After No.2D treatment, it is subjected to a final light cold rolling on a polishing roller to obtain a proper gloss. It is the most commonly used surface processing method and can be used for building materials, kitchen utensils, etc.
BA: Bright as a mirror, usually a bright annealed surface processing, with high surface reflectivity, commonly used in building materials and kitchen utensils.
No.3: Coarse grinding, grinding No.2D and No.2B materials with 100-200# (unit) abrasive grinding belt, suitable for building materials and kitchen utensils.
