Production process:

Hot rolling process: The steel billet is heated to a high temperature (generally 1100℃ - 1250℃), and then extruded through the rollers of the hot rolling mill to deform it into the desired shape and size.
Features: Hot-rolled carbon steel pipes have the characteristics of relatively low dimensional accuracy and rough surface, but high production efficiency and low cost, suitable for large-scale production. The outer diameter range of hot-rolled carbon steel pipes is usually large, and large-diameter steel pipes can be produced.
Cold rolling process: On the basis of hot-rolled steel pipes, the steel pipes are further cooled to below room temperature, and then cold-processed through the rollers of the cold rolling mill to make their dimensions more accurate and their surfaces smoother.
Features: Cold-rolled carbon steel pipes have high dimensional accuracy and good surface quality, but relatively low production efficiency and high cost. The cold rolling process can produce thin-walled steel pipes, which are suitable for occasions with high requirements for dimensional accuracy and surface quality
