Marine Osmosis Fresh Water Generator/Seawater Desalination
Application In reverse osmosis (RO) seawater is forced at high pressure (to overcome the osmotic pressure) through a semi-permeable membrane. The membrane works like a filter, only allowing certain atoms and molecules through. The process makes it possible to separate the water from the dissolved materials. The membrane filter retains solids, bacteria, viruses, lime and, for instance, heavy metals. It solves the problem of drinking water in area of water shortage. Features - Flexible designs for multi-purpose applications, including merchant ships, navy warships, engineering barge, offshore platform, island water station &onshore facilities - engineering barges, offshore platforms. - Real-time indications via mimic diagram. - fully automatic control by PLC integrated in one push button - Regular chemical dosing & back flushing to ensure the unit always working in good condition - High standard R.O. Elements reducing operation/maintenance cost - World-wide aft-sales service and maintenance upon request -Automatic cleaning and fore & back flushing system with compressed air acceleration of sand filter. Performance system function of RO Seawater Desalination Plant 1) Sea water 35000ppm, for desalinating sea water into fresh water 500ppm 2) Whole system under control and monitoring via PLC 3) Automatic cleaning and back-flushing system equipped for sand filter, 4) There is over-pressure protection available for high pressure pump, when pressure is over 6.8Mpa, the system will shut down automatically, and give alarm for attention. 5) High pressure pump equipped with low-pressure protection device, when pre-treated sea water pressure is less than 0.05Mpa, the system will shut down automatically and give alarm for attention. 6) Working parameter (Raw water flow, product flow, brine flow, operation pressure, product water conductivity) 7) If the product water is unqualified (salt content more than 700ppm), the system will drain automatically and give alarm for attention. 8) Potential-free alarm and running indication available for extension.
