Wonderful old mens planters / plantation style straw hat made In China. The hat is made of fine straw and has a beautiful tight weave, nicely shaped crown, and wide brim with 1 inch wide grosgrain ribbon band. Wonderful summer hat to provide sun protection, perfect for an outdoor Summer wedding. Think Clark Gable in "Gone With The Wind".
The hat has an inner sweat band size of 21 7/8 which equates to a hat size 7 and falls in the small end of the medium hat size range. The crown stands 3 1/2 inches and there is a wide 3 inch brim up turned at the outer edge. This exceptional estate find is in excellent condition with no sign of use or wear.
