Chain sprocket Maintenance
1 , the tightness of the chain sprocket should be appropriate, too tight will increase power consumption , bearing
easy to wear ; too loose off the chain and sprocket easily beating . Tightness of the chain is: lift or pressure
from the middle of the chain , the two sprocket center distance of about 2 % -3 %.
2 , sprocket mounted on the shaft should be no wobble and skew . In both end surfaces of the same chain drive
assembly to be located in the same plane, the sprocket center distance 0.5 m or less, the deviation 1 mm ; center
distance when a chain of more than 0.5 m , the deviation can be 2 mm . But not the phenomenon of friction sprocket
side , if two offset too large chains and prone to accelerated wear off . When replacing the sprocket must be
careful to check and adjust the offset.
3 , sprocket wear serious , it should also replace the new chain sprockets and new , to ensure good engagement . Not
just a single new replacement sprocket or sprockets . Otherwise it will cause bad engagement , accelerate new
sprocket or new sprocket wear. Sprocket tooth wear to a certain extent should be promptly turned over to use ( refer
to the surface using an adjustable chain ) , to extend the use of time .
4, new or used chain sprocket elongation after long and difficult adjustment , removed the link to see the situation
, but it must be an even number. Back through the chain links should the locking plate is inserted on the outside,
the opening of the lock piece to be rotated toward the opposite direction.
5 , sprockets at work should be promptly filling oil . Lubricants must enter the roller and the inner sleeve with
the gap , to improve working conditions and reduce wear.
6 , the old part of the new chain sprocket can not be mixed with , or prone to shocks in the drive , and pull off
the sprocket.
7 , when the machine is long-term storage , remove the chain sprocket should be cleaned with kerosene or diesel oil
, then coated with oil or butter stored in a dry place.
