Through the comparison and analysis of PET strap and steel strap as well as the practical data, we have learnt that 25mm*1.2 mm PET strap can replace 32mm*1mm steel strap for heavy packing. The density of PET strap is only 1/6 of steel strap. Therefore, PET strap for the heavy industries, like glass, Aluminum ingot etc, can save 50% cost comparing with steel strap.
Safety:PET strap can keep 5% retaining strength and not loosen in long-time. Under the external strong clash, it still can keep 5% elongation to insure the safety of packaged goods. PET strap has no sharp edge as steel strap, which wouldn’t damage the packaged goods and hurt the operators in the process of packing and unpacking.
