What are DTF and DTG?
DTF stands for Direct-to-film, the same as DTG stands for Direct-to-garment. Fundamentally, DTF is an inkjet transfer process: inkjet printing + hot melt "glue" + transfer film. Think of this process as doing a white toner printer transfer.
Can it be sublimated with vinyl?
The design can be sublimated directly onto the vinyl before being pressed against the garment. This option is recommended if the customer requests sublimation of cotton.
Can it be sublimated into vinyl fabric?
So the answer is absolutely yes! You can sublimate with vinyl! For ideal results, it is recommended to sublimate on a white or light colored substrate. At the same time, HTV is perfect for all fabrics and other materials.
