Description:

The rotary kiln is used for the magnetization roasting of the weak magnetic iron ore after the crusher equipment is broken. Magnetization roasting is mainly to use the equipment to convert minerals from weak magnetic to strong magnetic iron minerals under certain conditions (such as hematite, limonite, siderite and pyrite). Magnetization roasting is the process of physicochemical reaction in the corresponding atmosphere after the ore is heated to a certain temperature. The chemical reactions vary depending on the ore. According to the principle, magnetization roasting can be divided into reduction roasting, neutral calcination and oxidative roasting. Reduction roasting is mainly suitable for the treatment of hematite and limonite. Commonly used reducing agents C, CO and H2, etc., the temperature is generally between 700 ° C ~ 850 ° C. Neutral calcination is suitable for the treatment of siderite, temperature 400 ° C ~ 700 ° C. Oxidative roasting is suitable for the treatment of pyrite, which is oxidized to pyrrhotite in a oxidizing atmosphere (or a large amount of air). As the oxidation time increases, the pyrrhotite becomes magnetite. In addition to increasing the magnetic properties of the ore after magnetization roasting, the following effects can be obtained.
1. Exclude gas and crystal water in the ore. For example, limonite and hydrothermal hematite are burned to remove water and silica, which correspondingly increases the porosity of the ore and improves the grade of the ore. This is not only beneficial to the selection, but also beneficial to blast furnace smelting.
2. Exclude harmful elements from the ore after roasting, such as ore containing harmful impurities such as sulfur and arsenic. The gas is removed from the ore during firing.
3. The ore structure is loose and the properties become brittle. This has the use of crushing and grinding, reducing the cost of crushing and ball mill grinding, and increasing the rate of action.
