High transmission efficiency and simple structure Flexible Disc Coupling suitable for water pump and power generation equipment
The Flexible Disc Coupling has high transmission efficiency and is especially suitable for medium and high-speed high-power transmission. The utility model has the advantages of simple structure, light weight, small volume and convenient assembly and disassembly. It can be assembled and disassembled without moving the machine, without lubrication. It can accurately transfer rotating speed without slip, and can be used for transmission of precision machinery.
Flexible Disc Coupling handle high impact loads to some extent, and some designs use polymer elements in bolt assemblies to increase impact resistance. Flexible Disc Couplings are quite power intensive, which means they can transmit considerable torque of their weight and volume. Their main advantage is maintenance free operation and its open framework that allows inspection in operation.
Flexible Disc Coupling can also be arranged as single disc and multiple disc packs, depending on the dislocation conditions. A single disc pack can accommodate angular misalignment, but if there are parallel misalignment, two disc packs separated by spacers must be used. The disc edge is usually flat or fan-shaped, and some old installations use a circular shape. Flat edge designs produce greater torsional stiffness than circular styles and are often used as a compromise between cost and performance. Sector disks are usually reserved for high-performance installation on turbines.

More than 40% of the employees in Reijay nowadays are professional engineers (including senior engineers) with bachelor’s degrees or above. At the same time, we are glad to have 8 senior product application engineers and development engineers (including a PhD in Machinery who studied in Germany before). Reijay has established cooperation with many well-known universities and research institutes in dynamic simulation analysis, motion, shock, dynamics, vibration, strength, and other reliability tests. Furthermore, Reijay also cooperates with some research institutes enterprises in development partnerships and industrial and mining application tests.
