The High Pressure DTH Drilling Hammer is a percussive rock drilling tool, but unlike other rock drilling tools, it always stays at the bottom of the hole during the drilling process, and the piston directly impacts the drill bit. The compressed gas enters the impactor through the drill pipe, and then is discharged from the drill bit, and the exhaust gas is used to remove the ballast. The rotary motion of the impactor is provided by the rotary head, and the shaft thrust is provided by the thruster, which is transmitted to the impactor through the drill rod.
High Pressure DTH Drilling Hammer has the advantages of fast action, large impact power, low gas consumption and long life.
It is widely used in geotechnical engineering to drill through various medium-hard, high-hard and other tough rocks with poor drillability. Its characteristics are as follows:
1. This type of impactor is designed with a strong blowing system, which can use all the high-pressure gas for slag discharge, so as to make the bottom of the hole clean; the hardened wear-resistant outer casing can be turned around and used, so the replacement period can be extended ;
2. The air plug is designed, which can adjust the gas consumption for slag discharge according to the hardness, wear resistance and drillability of the rock, so as to achieve the best slag discharge effect and achieve the highest drilling efficiency;
3. The structure is simple, the parts are few, and the use of wear-resistant parts, the working time of the impactor is longer;
4. The front joint of High Pressure DTH Drilling Hammer adopts multiple threads to connect with the outer cylinder, which makes it easier for the impactor to remove the drill bit.
