The tricone rock drill bit is the most widely used drilling bit. When the tricone rock bit is working, the cutting teeth alternately contact the bottom of the hole, the rock breaking torque is small, the contact area between the cutting teeth and the bottom hole is small, the specific pressure is high, and it is easy to drill into the formation; the total length of the working edge is large, so the wear is relatively reduced. Tricone rock bits can adapt to a variety of formations from soft to hard.
 
Glorytek can supply tricone rock bits sizes ranging from 3 7/8 " to 26" have been developed, which can be applied to different formations from soft to very hard. Those designs are compatible with different drilling technologies such as conventional drilling and directional drilling.
 
 

 
Tricone bit is mainly used in oil well,water well, coalbed methane and geothermal well drilling engineering. Glorytek tricone bits are designed and manufactured according to the standard of oil drilling bit, which are long life, high drilling efficiency and low operation cost.

1. High-strength and high-toughness carbide teeth are used to improve the impact resistance of the teeth and reduce the tooth breakage rate;
2. The optimally designed tooth row number, tooth number, exposed tooth height and unique alloy tooth shape give full play to the cutting ability and cutting speed of the drill bit;
3. The circlip is used to lock the cone, which can withstand high drilling pressure;
4. The inner hole of the cone is inlaid with anti-friction alloy to improve the anti-seizure ability of the bearing;
5. Using high saturated nitrile rubber O-ring, the optimized sealing compression improves the reliability of the bearing seal;
6. The use of all-rubber oil storage bag that can limit the pressure difference and prevent drilling fluid from entering the lubrication system provides good lubrication for the bearing system, and ensures the normal operation of the "O"-shaped sealing ring, which improves the working life of the drill bit;
7. A new type of lubricating grease with high temperature resistance of 250℃ and low wear is adopted, which improves the high temperature resistance ability of the sealing and lubrication system of the drill bit.
