Down The Hole Hammer Mining DTH Drilling Hammers for Blasting Drilling Water Well Drilling
DTH (down-the-hole) drilling involves a drilling hammer at the bottom of a drill string, the hammer is powered by compressed air transmitted via drilling rod to drive piston and produce impact power, which is then delivered into rocks for drilling and crushing. DTH drilling can be applied in mining, quarrying, water well drilling, foundation piling, etc. DTH hammer uses compressed air to produce impact power, thus to drive drill bits to crush rocks.
We provide quality and durable DTH hammer from 3" to 12". Our company uses high-quality raw materials and advanced production technology to produce high-quality series of down-the-hole drilling tools. At present, there are four types of end face designs used by down-the-hole drill bits: end face convex type, end face flat type, and end face deep concave center type.
The advantages of hammers without foot valve against with foot valve:
1. No more worries on the foot valve breakage or distortion or expansion due to the abrasion or high tempreture.
2. Higher impact rate, lower energy consumption, around 15-30% higher drill speed than the one with foot valve
3. Remain simple design, and reliable parts, long life, easy and cheap maintenance.
4. Lower air and oil consumption, oil consumption can be around 10% lower than the one with foot valve.
