Drilling Mud Shale Shaker for Fluids Cleaning at Oil & Gas Industry

Shale Shaker is the first phase solids control equipment in the drilling fluids recycling system to remove large solids(typically larger than 75 microns), which plays an important role in the waste drilling mud treatment. With a stable and durable drying shaker, it brings to the customer both the economic and the environmental benefits. Because fluids are expensive to produce, shale shakers improve a rig's economy by stripping away cuttings for disposal before recycling the fulids.

Dual deck drilling mud shale shaker

Dual-deck shale shaker, also is called double layer screen shale shaker, is a fitful device on drilling mud management or horizontal boring (horizontal direction drilling). Tandem shale shaker manufactured by aipu solids control has demonstrated higher flow rates with all types of mud than other well known mud shale shakers. The horizontal shaker screens allow longer slurry retention time and provide more volume sq.ft. of screen than traditional shakers.

Dual deck shaker is one of type shale shakers. As we know, it has two decks: the top deck use coarse screen and the bottom deck use fine screen. The biggest benefit of using dual deck shale shaker is reduced the number of shakers required on solids control system and can deliver high processing capacities.

Besides solids control, the shale shaker can be used to process the oil sludge or waste management. The design on-screen or deck may vary, but the main structure will be the same. Some construction industry, such as HDD, piling, and tunneling will request shaker and other equipment to process fluids. The deck angle can be adjusted easily by just screw the nut on the jackscrew. And angle should be adjusted according to actual working conditions. For example, when we need a high flow rate we need to make a deck with a small minus angle or in parallel to the ground. If we need better filtration or more dry solids, please make a deck with an uphill angle. The rotation can be clockwise or anti-clockwise
