Diesel Fuel Waste Gas Flare Ignition For Workover Drilling Rig Oil Gas

APFI flare ignition device is also referred to as a flare ignitor or a gas flame. It can be used in oil and gas drilling sites as well as the gas station to burn the extra and the vented poisonous gas. The flare ignition device is connected with ven-line on degasser to burn the harmful gas. It is usually painted in red color as a warning at the oilfield. The fuel of the ignitor can be diesel oil or LNG. When we burn the gas out of the degasser, the fuel tank will assist the whole ignition.

Flare ignition device is used to light the waste gas like blown down natural gas, the tail gas from collecting and distributing station of natural gas and refinery. At the oil and gas drilling site, it is usually connected with a mud gas separator. Being a kind of security and environmental protection equipment, flare ignition devices can be used to have the blown down harmful gas ignited and burned to prevent the environment and security from being endangered.

Why do we need the APFI ignitor?

The flare ignition device is used to light the waste gas in the oil and gas industry. It is connected with poor boy degasser, which separates gas from drilling mud and vent gas to flare ignition device

Burning harmful or poisonous gas by igniter will eliminate threats to the environment and safety. Every flare ignition device will be operated together with a mud gas separator. They will be connected with the vent line or gas discharge line. They are widely used in oil and gas drilling.

Besides traditional flare igniter, Aipu also manufactures the ignition device with solar panels. The battery will be charged under sun energy. This is more environmental-friendly with green energy.

For each flare ignition device, we’ll configure the burner, the control panel, the joint connection, a small tank with LNG. Between the ignitor and the fuel line, there is a flame arrestor ensure safety during ignitor operation

What is the main configuration of the flare ignition device?

There is the arrestor, the torch, the flame pin, the control panel, the fuel tank, or the connection line. If we use diesel oil as the fuel, there will be no diesel tank but the connection line between the ignitor and the fuel tank at the site.

Some flare ignition device is powered by a solar panel. This configuration is more and more popular. It's more environmental-friendly and convenient to get the power source.

What are the types of flare ignitors?

Flare ignition device is a special oil drilling equipment to handle the invaded gas, it is also effective equipment to handle the tail gas and invaded natural gas in oil field, refinery and natural gas collecting and distributing station. It can ignite the harmful invaded gas to eliminate the hazards to the environment, also it is a security environmental protection equipment. This equipment can match with mud gas separator and is usually used in oil & gas drilling and CBM drilling project.

Based on the installation way, there are vertical type and horizontal type. That means the torch port direction is parallel to the ground or normal to the ground.

Based on the fuel material, there are LNG flare ignition devices or the diesel flare ignitor. Considering the power supply, there are the electrical gas flame and the solar gas flame.

Consider the control pattern, there are a fixed control panel and a remote control gas flame. Besides the above division, we can customize the gas flame according to the user and the practical working condition. Such as we made the extra-high gas flame for an oil drilling company.
