Desilter cones 4 inch is a kind of high-efficiency separation equipment that's the core part of drilling mud cleaner. The cone uses centrifugal force field to separate two-phase fluid. Cyclone 4" material is high quality polyurethane which can resist temperature around 80 degree.
Hydrocyclone separators are widely used in drilling rigs, no matter onshore or offshore platforms. removing cuttings from drilling mud those hard abrasive particles too small to be rejected by a shale shaker. The treating capacity of cone 4 inch is about 12 to 15 cubic meters per hour.
Hydrocyclone structure. the upper part of the cone is conical; a feeding pipe tangent to the cylinder wall is installed on the cylindrical cylinder; a central overflow pipe connected with the cylindrical part is installed on the upper part of the cone; the upper end of the overflow pipe is connected with the external pipe through the buffer chamber or directly to discharge the overflow, and a grit nozzle is installed at the bottom of the cone to discharge the coarse grit.
