Well drilling mud mixing pump is the integration of mixing hopper and centrifugal pump. We can set hopper and pump on skid together or separately. Hopper on tank top and pump on tank bottom skid. Considering whole mud system flow rate we can design the dual tandem mixing pump. Some users will request dual mixing hopper pump anyhow, since they will treat one set as spare one.

Mixing hopper hydraulic consumption should be as little as possible, otherwise the flow rate may decrease by too much
Distance between Venturi hopper and nozzle should be proper. The optimal distance should be 32~90mm
Output pressure should be designed properly. If the discharge port pressure is too high the flow rate of mixing pump will be lower than expected
The higher pressure at inlet port the higher flow rate of mixing hopper
The higher hopper mounted the lower mixing capacity

Mud mixer is a single jet mud mixer combined with 45 Kw (or 55 Kw) sand pump and a jet mud hopper or a double jet mixer of two pumps and two hoppers.

The weighting hopper can be combined with a pump or be used independently with manifold valves with pump.

Put the drilling fluid materials (bentonites, barite powder) and the corresponding chemical additives (polymer) into circulating tank for increasing the total.

Application of Jet mud mixing pump
