Product Overview
Galvanized steel wire rope is divided into two types: cold galvanized steel wire rope and hot galvanized steel wire rope. The essential difference of the two types is that hot galvanized steel wire rope has zinc-iron alloy layer, so it is more corrosion-resistant. The galvanized steel wire rope can be used in the fields of shipping, offshore oil exploration, aircraft control, marine fishing, trawling, etc
The rope can be laid up in different ways, usually left or right hand lay. This has some implications for how the wire line should be handled and possibly some other considerations. In Figure 3, you can see several different styles of laid up wire rope. Right hand lay is much more common.
