Brief Introduction
Jet Mud Mixer is a kind of equipment for adding and mixing drilling fluids. Its effect is obvious to use along with shear pump. As an necessary equipment in solids control system, its main function is to change the viscosity, density, and dehydration of drilling fluids. Jet mud mixer is needed on the condition that making bentonite, chemical products and barite with clear water into drilling fluids which has specific property, or adding some additive in existing drilling fluids to change its property.
Put drilling fluid materials (betonies, barite powder) and some chemical additives (polymer) into circulation tank to increase total drilling fluid preparation and change drilling fluid density, viscosity, dehydration and so on. Direct inputting will cause a lot of settlement or agglomerate of drilling fluid materials and chemical additives with no gain of dispersed and well-proportioned drilling fluid.
Jet mud mixer is a piece of equipment used together with solids control system together. It can meet the requirements of drilling fluid weighting and mixing for solids control system of 1,500 m to 7,000 m drilling. This equipment is a single jet mixer combined with 45 Kw (or 55 Kw) sand pump and a jet mud hopper or a double jet mixer of two pumps and two hoppers. It features as safe performance and convenient transportation.
