The purpose of kelly bar is to transfer torques and pressures into drilling tools and kelly bar is the important component of rig accessories.
we supply two kelly bar, interlocking and friction,the kelly bar length depends on actual needs of customers or the drilling machines' parameters.
The key parts of kelly bar such as drive key is widely used heat treatment to improve wear resistance.
High grade materials and special welding process guarantee a high durability and wear risistance of our kelly bar.
A kelly bar in a system of drive keys and lock recesses weld onto their outer surface which has 2-5 telescopic tubular sections.
With High torsional coefficient,the compression and vibration resistance of kelly bar is higher than average level,high efficient in rock drilling construction.
In each section,normally kelly bars are matched with a total of 6 drive keys.
Frictional kelly bar
This type of the kelly bar is suitable for soft ground and mud, mud, (mud) sand, gravel layers.
It is convenient and fast to lift the bar because it does need to lock the joint of its inner and outer lining .
Non-stair key, friction transmission the outside key is made by highly wear-resisting tempering steel.
Interlocking kelly bar
Another type is fit for soft fromations, (weak) weathered rock, hard strata construction layers.
It is of great pressure transmission and good anti-contortion perfomance,even at the hard geologic condition it can transfer greater pressure and drill in.
This one has 3 rigid parts between drilling pipes to transfer greater pressure from embedding cylinder.
Stair key, organization transmission, the outside key is made by highly wear-resisting tempering steel.
