Sometimes a simple product that does all the hard work for you is the order of the day – and our 18W +18W Recessed LED COB Downlight fits the bill perfectly.
This double color COB downlight packs everything you need into one unit – downlight and panel light . multiple colors optional at the same time . There are many colors combination for your choice , they are white + blue , white + yellow , white + green , white + red , white + pink , and white +white also available.
You're not just stuck to the one mode however , if you just want the yellow circle light on for an effect and not much general illumination , you can do . Also, if you want just the white COB light on , you can do that also.
Your can match the light color for your COB downlight freely according to your lighting abience demands . They are widely used both for commerial and domestic lighting , such as hotel , restaurant , KTV , club , bar , exhibition display , department store , fashion shop , jewlery store , corridor , gallery , kitchen and study room etc.
The single 18W COB (chip on board) uses just 18W of energy to provide 1400 lumens of light. An equivalent halogen would use over 13 times more energy – a whopping 200W!
It’s easy to install too – as it uses standard 85-265V mains input voltage and only requires a 205mm cutting hole to use.
The narrow 60º COB beam angle makes it ideal for feature and accent lighting , giving it a clearly defined purpose.
Can I Customise My Downlight?
There are a couple of options you can change on your COB downlight to make it perfect for your needs .
The first is what kind of colour temperature you would like the COB to emit . This is simply a measure of how warm the light looks , and uses Kelvins as the unit of measurement .
Warm white appears close to how traditional halogens look , and help create a cosy atmosphere which works great in the living room and bedroom.
Cool white is very different in that it is brighter and icier . This works much better in places like the office or kitchen.
Why Should I Use LEDs?
There are loads of reasons to make the switch to LEDs . Chief among these are the money saving benefits.
It starts with how energy efficient LEDs are compared to traditional bulbs . Incandescent lights lose up to 80% of their energy to heat wastage alone , making them massively inefficient.
LEDs on the other hand only lose around 10% - making them up to 10 times more efficient . As a result, they use far less energy – so your electricity bills come for considerably less.
The cooler operating temperature also means that there is less wear and tear on your LEDs , and this results in much longer life – up to 40,000 hours on this downlight . Ultimately , this means you’ll spend a lot less on replacement bulbs , giving you even more savings.
