Durch das weniger invasive Testverfahren und eine geringe Eindringtiefe bei der Probenentnahme wird nicht nur das Auftreten störender Reflexe vermieden, sondern auch die Akzeptanz durch den Patienten deutlich erhöht. Ideal geeignet für die Durchführung von Antigentests bei Kindern, älteren Menschen und Menschen mit Behinderung. Der nasale Antigentest kann auch Zuhause durchgeführt werden und liefert innerhalb von nur 15 Minuten verlässliche Testergebnisse. Es treten keine Kreuzreaktivitäten mit anderen, häufig vorkommenden Viren, wie z. B. H1N1, auf. Lagerung bei 2 - 30 °C.

The Hughes/FlowFlex test is a true nostril swab test.
