Thermal transfer ribbons for TTO printers. Near edge ribbons have been developed for high-volume printing processes at high speeds. Suitable substrates are paper, various plastics and flexible packaging foils.

The Near edge technology makes it possible to integrate identification marking directly into the production process. We offer near edge ribbons that are wax / resin or resin based. these ink ribbon types have been developed for different stress requirements and surfaces. resin ribbons are more durable than wax/resin ribbons.

Companies that distribute large volumes of goods use thermal transfer printing with near edge ribbons because it guarantees resistant print, even at high print speeds. It’s used for packaging in the food industry, among others.

According to the coating materials, the thermal transfer ribbon can be divided into three types: wax-based, wax/resin mixed, and resin-based.
A) wax-based: usually with high density and high sensitivity, paper labels are used, and the printing effect is excellent and the cost is economical.
Universal wax-based thermal transfer carbon ribbon is suitable for most thermal transfer printers. Under the condition of low energy consumption, this high-sensitivity ribbon can still achieve excellent printing density and clarity, and the printing speed can reach 200mm/s. Heat resistance: 100℃, printing material: coated paper, melting point: 65℃. The printing speed of enhanced wax-based thermal transfer ribbon can reach 250 mm/s. Melting point: 80℃.
B) Mixed base: It has both high-quality printing effect and durability, and is widely used with excellent price and efficiency.
The wax/tree mixed carbon ribbon has high sensitivity: it consumes less and delays the life of the print head. Heat resistance: 100℃, printing speed: 250mm /s, printing materials: coated paper, PVC, PET, PE, PP, melting point: 75℃. The edge-pressing reinforced wax/tree hybrid carbon tape is suitable for edge-pressing printers, is compatible with various label papers, and has the characteristics of antifouling and scratch resistance. Printing speed: 300mm /s, melting point: 80℃.
C) Resin-based: the most durable, abrasion-resistant, heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant. Some formulas can resist steam pressure, while others can be washed or dry-cleaned.
The enhanced resin-based thermal transfer carbon tape is suitable for flat-head printing heads, and the printing speed can reach 200mm/s and the printing resolution can reach 200DPI to 300DPI under the condition of low energy consumption. Heat resistance: 100℃, printing speed: 200mm/s, printing materials: PVC, PET, PE, PP, melting point: 80℃. The edge press reinforced resin-based carbon tape is suitable for edge press printers. Under the condition of low energy consumption, the unique back coating technology makes printing more flexible and easy, and even makes printing rotated 90 degrees. Heat resistance: 180℃, printing speed: 200mm/s, melting point: 80℃.
