What is Smart Tint Display Film (STD Film) ?
Smart Tint Display (STD) is a flexible, reflective, thin, low-power, lightweight, and color display technology, offering unparalleled viewing ability, durability, and flexibility. The unique encapsulation of STD micro droplets is at the heart of the STD’s simpler construction, superior performance, and ability to withstand humidity and harsh environmental conditions. The STD™ panel consists of a thin layer of STD micro droplets sandwiched between two flexible and transparent layers of PET/ITO substrate. When voltage is applied to the STD panel, the STD micro droplets are realigned, allowing an efficient transmission of light, which reflects off the background layer of the display, resulting in clear and vibrant readability. The efficient, reliable, and relatively simple application of STD micro droplets between two flexible layers of PET/ITO substrate makes STD™ technology high-yield, thinner, more flexible and more durable than other display technologies. roll-to-roll (R2R) manufacturing of STD™ film is state-of-the art with a track record of reliability, enabling the production of large, cost-effective quantities.
Control System : Smart Tint Controller
Smart Tint Controller is intelligent interactive system for control of STD film. Smart Tint Controller adopting the state-of –the art industry technology, integrates both dimming and instant control of STD smart film. With the help of wireless remote control, it can control STD smart film by both precise dimming and instant control buttons and maximize the human-computer interactive effect. Smart Tint Controller is targeted for tuning the transparent level of STD film on car window by wireless remote control. We can Customize Smart Tint Controller as per client’s specific requirements.
