Ultrasonic welding transducer is also known as ultrasonic vibration transducer. In the industry, the whole body after the ultrasonic welding transducer is connected with the horn is called vibrator. Ultrasonic welding transducer is a device which can transform electric energy and mechanical energy (acoustic vibration) by piezoelectric effect of piezoelectric ceramics, and amplify it by irradiating the cover block before and after matching the acoustic impedance.
Common materials of ultrasonic welding transducer
1. Aluminum horn has high sound transmission efficiency, but low material strength, easy to crack and screw hole slide wire
2. The steel horn has high strength, but relatively large acoustic impedance
3. Titanium alloy horn has good comprehensive performance, but its disadvantages are high price and difficult processing.
