The ultrasonic cleaning tank is composed of an inner tank and a shell. The outer surface of the inner tank (generally on the outer surface of the tank bottom) is bonded with an ultrasonic transducer, and the tank is filled with cleaning fluid. The groove is generally made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel plate, which will affect the ultrasonic radiation if it is too thick. The inner wall of the groove, especially the radiation plate with transducer, should be smooth and polished, without any scars, otherwise cavitation corrosion will easily occur and the service life will be shortened.
In order to avoid scratches caused by the direct contact between the cleaned workpiece and the groove wall plate, the cleaning part is usually suspended in the cleaning solution by the hollow hanging basket (cleaning basket) or bracket. The framework of the basket shall be as small and light as possible, generally made of stainless steel wire or other materials with good reflection sound. In structure, it is necessary to make the ultrasonic wave less blocked and the cleaning liquid easy to flow. The size of the inner groove depends on the size and shape of the cleaning parts.
The total surface area of the cleaning parts shall be larger than the volume of the inner groove. The electric power strength of the radiation plate (such as the groove bottom plate) with the transducer is generally lower than 1.5W? Cm2 (when using the voltage transducer, most of them should be between 0.5-1w / cm2). Too high intensity will accelerate the cavitation corrosion on the surface of the radiation plate. At the same time, the bubbles produced by too severe cavitation will affect the energy transfer, so that the sound intensity of the liquid space far away from the radiation surface becomes weak and the purpose of uniform cleaning cannot be achieved.
