The glow plugs of diesel vehicles do not need to be replaced regularly. If the glow plugs are damaged, the preheat indicator light in the instrument panel will always be on under normal conditions. Or in cooler weather, if the engine is difficult to start, this behavior is also likely to be a malfunction of the preheating system.
There are usually 4 engine glow plugs, which are distributed in parallel on the side of the engine. If you need to replace them yourself, you may have to remove some parts that prevent the replacement of the glow plugs. Replacing the glow plugs requires the use of an extended sleeve tool. After removing them in sequence, you can use a multimeter to measure the resistance in turn, so you can know which glow plug is broken. If the resistance is infinite, it means that the internal circuit is broken; if the resistance is resolved to zero , indicating an internal short circuit. The installation can be reversed in the order of removal.
