Product Description:
High performance 3M™ PTFE 5451 glass cloth tape features a brown glass cloth interlining impregnated with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene). This tape provides a smooth surface on processing machinery and provides an extremely low coefficient of friction. It is combined with a pressure-sensitive silicone adhesive to produce a non-stick surface at high temperatures.
Product Features:
Premium glass cloth reinforced backing tape provides greater tensile strength and better tear and perforation resistance than classic PTFE film substrate tape
Silicone adhesive has good high temperature performance and is not easy to age
Provides non-stick and low friction surfaces on heat sealing and packaging equipment
Can operate in a wide temperature range including up to 500°F/260°C
