Description:
Neuro- testing pen can be used forassessing precise the sensation of peripheral neuropathy parts of diabetic patient, so that the doctor according to the assess results, to implement effective treatment for patients with diabetic and the patient of peripheral neuropathy.

The instruction of Neuro- Testing Pen:
1. Monofilament Test (Test of touch sensation)
2. Fully extend the monofilament slowly by sliding the button to the end of Neuro- Testing Pen until it is firmed in the end of slot.
3. Prepare the patient for test, hold the monofilament in position for 1-2 seconds before removing, and the monofilament is calibrated to bend at 10g of force. Then observe and ask the patient feeling situation, If there is no touch sensation, it is verified the patient loss of sensation in this position.
4. Monofilaments lose will lose their accuracy if used regularly after 100uses. The workers should be replace the monofilament or Neuro- Testing Pen, they can also contact directly manufacturer or distributor.
5. Neurotip test (Assessing sharpness sensation)
6. Take off the cap, make use alcohol wipe to clean the neurotip.
7. Put the sterile neurotip on neuropathic parts of patients, press the neurotip until the button of press gauge arrive 40g marker, then ask the patient whether if they have sharpness pain, if they dont have any sensation, it is verified they have loss sensation serious in this part.
The maintenance of Diabetic Foot Test Monofilament
1. Before and after using Neuro- Testing Pen, they should clean monofilament and neurotip with alcohol wipe or antiseptic solution.
2. After clean Neuro- Testing Pen, adjust monofilament back to the original location to slip to the top of the slot , and cap on neurotip.
