Features
Changan officially introduced its Lantuozhe Pickup to the global market. This new model, developed by Changan’s Pickup Division, marks the debut of the Blue Whale 2.0T engine in Changan's pickup lineup and proudly displays the brand's iconic "V-shaped" badge.
The Changan Lantop adopts a unique landscape-inspired aesthetic design, featuring a glacier-themed front grille complemented by dotted elements in the central grille. Paired with newly designed LED headlights and through-type LED daytime running lights, the Lantop stands out with its bold, distinctive look. Its dimensions measure 5600 mm in length, 1930 mm in width, and 1865 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3430 mm, offering a commanding road presence.
Powering the lantuozhe is Changan's 2.0-liter turbocharged Blue Whale engine, capable of producing 171 kW of power and 390 Nm of peak torque. Compared to other models in its class, the fuel efficiency improves by 7%-11.5%. There is also an optional 120 hp GW4D20M turbo engine available, coupled with either an 8-speed AMT or a 6-speed manual transmission.
In terms of suspension, the Changan Lantop comes equipped with a double wishbone independent front suspension, five-link independent rear suspension, and a four-wheel-drive system. These features ensure that the vehicle is versatile enough to handle various driving conditions and meet the demands of a wide range of customers.
