PFM (porcelain fused to metal) crown and bridge is a classic and traditional product in the market. It has been a mature and popular product in the last few decades. Advantange of PFM product include: easy to insert, good fitness, great strength, permanent solution.
For us, Trushine Dental Lab, as a professional dental lab of course could provide this product. Now we use milling technique for framework, compared to old casting technique, milling could eliminate most of the alloy bubbles. Now we use Co Cr alloy as material for framework. compared to the traditional high-noble and noble alloys, they are stronger and harder. What is more, they can be used in thinner sections (0.3mm). And they are more affordable to ordinary patients.
Now we can also use CAD/CAM technique to help design and 3D print by using metal powder to framework. For porcelain, we have a variety of choices from Ivoclar to VITA, shofu, etc.
With all the updated technique and economic price, PFM is still a good choice within our lab product library.

| Tips for dentists: How to ship your cases to us: |
| 1. Please prepare the following items before sending your case or a digital one to us: |
| a. Write a workorder, fill with detailed information as much as possible; such as dentist name, address, date needed, patient name, age, tooth number, service items needed, single crowns or bridge, pontic design, color, etc. |
| b. Prepare the working impression (model) , opposite impression (model), study impression (model) if necessary and bite registration. |
| c. If there is an implant, please include all implant parts, including lab parts and let us know all the implant information needed. |
| d. Prepare an airway bill for shipping (We normally use shipping couriers such as DHL, UPS or Fedex, because they are more time efficient. you can also choose your shipping company, just let us know the info), You may also need to prepare one copy of commercial invoice for the local Customs and one copy of non wooden declaration paper. Please contact our service person, we might have those format you can use. |
