A framework partial denture is a dental construction, made of artificial teeth, soft tissue (normally in acrylic), attached to a metal skeleton as framework. The forces on a partial denture is transferred through framework and clasps to the supporting teeth, and to the alveolar ridge by acrylic bases. Here, Metal is the base of the partial denture or even full denture. (yes we can add metal to full denture also). We use 3D printed Cr-Co material for metal powder, which contains no Ni or Be and can reduce most of the allergies for patients.
The advantage of a 3D printed framework partial denture is:
| 1, It requires very less preparation of the natural teeth, or even no preparation at all. This will give less to no damage to patient's own natural teeth. |
| 2, It is a classic product, polular used and suitable for most of the conditions which patients lost teeth. |
| 3, It is estheticly nice with missing tooth been filled and replaced by acrylic teeth. |
| 4, It is stable, as metal gives great strength for dentures. |
| 5, It is removable, patients can take it out, clean easily and put it on again and again. |
| 6, It is inexpensive, economic, and can be remade or rebased easily at a relatively low cost. |
Now we can use CAD CAM to design in computer and laser-printing technique for this products, which gives less procities compared to the old casting way of framework. We have a great machine only to 3D print framework now and customer satisfaction is 98%.
