The inner diameter of the spherical bearing with seat outer is fitted with the clearance of the shaft by adopting'+'tolerance.

2. The bearing is fixed on the shaft through some top wire, eccentric sleeve or fastening sleeve on the inner ring, which reduces the precision requirement of the shaft and makes it very convenient to install or replace the bearing.

3. Small Requirements for Working Environment

Outer spherical bearing with seat is usually pre-filled grease, which adopts double or three-lip seal form. It is suitable for use in occasions with more dust, mud and corrosive media, and is beneficial to the work of the main engine.

The UCP213-40 2-1/2" pillow block bearing unit is equipped with two specially designed setscrews positioned in the inner ring of the ball bearing to lock onto the shaft. The pillow block set screws are placed at a 90-degree angle to optimize balance between holding power and inner ring distortion. The UCP213-40 2-1/2" pillow block bearings are relubricatable and offer a full-width inner ring for added stability.
 

The UCP213-40 pillow block bearing also features a positive-contact, three-piece, fiber-imbedded R-seal to protect against harmfull contaminants and retain lubricant. The setscrew locking mechanism on the pillow block bearing is easy to install and well suited for reversing applications and normal loads.
