1> Tempered glass is single glass panel,laminated glass made by 2pcs of glass panels.

Laminated glass:when it is broken,the glass will sticks to the interlayer and not drop down,the glass appearance looks not good,but may it still can be used.

● Definition of semi-tempered glass
The machining principle of semi-tempered glass is similar with tempered glass. The heating temperature is about 650℃ (less than the heating temperature of tempered glass), and the cooling speed is slow. The strength of the semi-tempered glass is lower than tempered glass and is about twice that of ordinary glass. However, the broken piece is large when it is broken and similar to annealed glass, and it cannot be used as safety glass. Compared to tempered glass, the flexibility of the semi-tempered glass is smaller, and its thermal stability is better than that of annealed glass.

● Capacity

No matter SGP or PVB laminated glass,they are made by raw materials of glass,like clear glass,ultra clear glass,tinted glass,reflective glass,frosted glass,etc.but there are still have many difference as below:
1> SGP is SentryGuard Plus Interlayer by Dupont;PVB is Polyvinyl butyral,we main produce glass with PVB film;
2> Thickness: PVB film,0.38mm 0.76mm,multiple of 0.38mm;The SGP film,0.76mm 1.52mm 2.28mm,etc;
3> SGP laminated glass is more than five times strongers and up to 100 times stiffer than PVB laminated glass;
4> SGP laminated glass is flexiable,it can be recover and stand up when out of force attrack it;PVB laminated glass will fall down;
5> Clarity: SGP laminated glass is much more clear than PVB laminated glass.
● Feature of tempered glass
1) Safety
Tempered glass is hard to break. Even broken, it will become lots of mini pieces which will not cause hurt to people.
2) High intensity
The strength is 3-5 times of ordinary annealed glass;
3) Heat stability
Tempered glass also has excellent stability under large difference in temperature (within 300C).
4) Customized
Sizes are produced per customer request, once tempered, cannot be cut down.
