Double Row Self-aligning Ball Bearing NSK 1213K Bearing is one kind of self-aligning ball bearings design . Its dimension is 65×120×23mm , weight is 1.1kg , the material are adopt high quality chrome steel,this design its similar with deep groove ball bearings. they are all have one inner ring and outer ring, pressed steel cage or brass cage ( self-aligning ball bearings usually use Glass fibre reinforced PA66 cage) , they are all use steel balls , but self-aligning ball bearings can self-aligning when they working, and deep groove ball bearings can be high speed then self-aligning ball bearings , so the end-user have to choose them according to specific applications.

Self-aligning ball bearing NSK 1213K Bearing have cylindrical bore and tapered bore design , the cages have pressed steel and Phenolic resin etc. Its characteristic is that the raceway of the outer ring is spherical and has self-aligning properties . so it can compensate for misalignment and shaft deflection errors , However, the relative inclination of the inner and outer rings must not exceed 3 degrees .

Double Row Self-aligning Ball Bearing NSK 1213K Bearing is constructed with the inner ring and ball assembly contained within an outer ring which has a spherical raceway for self aligning. and this kind of bearings are particularly suitable for applications where misalignment occurs from errors in mounting or from shaft deflection.  the feature of this kind of bearing effect it can carry only in heavy axial load applications . For applications where the bearing load (particularly axial load) carrying capacity is insufficient, spherical roller bearings, which have the same self-aligning property, should be used instead.

Measuring the clearance reduction When mounting basic design self-aligning ball bearings with the relatively small Normal radial internal clearance, it is generally sufficient to check clearance during the drive-up by turning and swivelling out the outer ring. When the bearing is properly mounted the outer ring can be easily turned but there should be a slight resistance when the outer ring is swivelled out. The bearing will then have the requisite interference fit. In some cases the residual internal clearance may be too small for the application, and a bearing with C3 radial internal clearance should be used instead.
