Double Row Self-aligning Ball Bearings NSK 1211 Bearing is one kind of self-aligning ball bearings design . Its dimension is 55×100×21mm , weight is 0.7 kg , the material are adopt high quality chrome steel,this design its similar with deep groove ball bearings. they are all have one inner ring and outer ring, pressed steel cage or brass cage ( self-aligning ball bearings usually use Glass fibre reinforced PA66 cage) , they are all use steel balls , but self-aligning ball bearings can self-aligning when they working, and deep groove ball bearings can be high speed then self-aligning ball bearings , so the end-user have to choose them according to specific applications.

NSK 1211 Bearing sizes having the E suffix have higher load ratings than the original standard design because of improvements in internal construction. They are supplied with a glass fiber reinforced, 6.6 polyamide cage as standard. Machined brass or pressed steel cages are supplied on other sizes .

Double Row Self-aligning Ball Bearing NSK 1211 Bearing is constructed with the inner ring and ball assembly contained within an outer ring which has a spherical raceway for self aligning. and this kind of bearings are particularly suitable for applications where misalignment occurs from errors in mounting or from shaft deflection.  the feature of this kind of bearing effect it can carry only in heavy axial load applications . For applications where the bearing load (particularly axial load) carrying capacity is insufficient, spherical roller bearings, which have the same self-aligning property, should be used instead .

Self-aligning ball bearings NSK 1211 Bearing with a tapered bore are always mounted with an interference fit on a tapered shaft seating or an adapter or withdrawal sleeve. As a measure of the degree of interference of the fit, either the reduction in radial internal clearance of the bearing or the axial displacement of the inner ring on its tapered seating is used. Suitable methods for mounting self-aligning ball bearings with tapered bore are:

• measuring the clearance reduction,

• measuring the lock nut tightening angle,

• measuring the axial drive-up .
