The supercritical CO2 extraction system using CO2 as extraction medium instead of water or organic solvent, with characteristics of environment friendly, non-toxic and no residue of CO2, and its greatest advantage is combined extraction, separation and solvent removing into one entity, thus greatly simplifies the process and improving the production efficiency.
Characteristics of the Supercritical CO₂ Extraction Device
• Low Critical temperature suitable for extraction and purification of heat sensitive compound.
• Being capable to provide inert environment to avoid oxidation of products and affection of effective content of extracts.
• Quick extraction,no toxicity, non-flammable, safe application and no pollution to environment.
• No residue of solvent, no nitrate and ions of heavy metal.
• The press ring of the extraction kettle can be opened quickly;O-ring is imported with service period over 4 months.
• CO₂ can be used in circulation.
• It can be designed and manufactured as per(GMP)standard.
• The pressure stabilizing system of the extraction kettle is imported back-pressure valve.
• It can be controlled with computerized automatic control system(temperature, pressure, flow).
• All valves of the device are under special heat treatment so with long service life.
